Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Uganda

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park
Start your day with a hearty breakfast to gear up for the exciting gorilla trekking adventure ahead. After eating, get ready to leave the lodge in comfortable trekking gear, including sturdy boots for navigating the rugged trails of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Expect a thrilling 2 to 6 hours of searching for the magnificent mountain gorillas, so be sure to pack energy snacks and plenty of water.
The trek kicks off at 8:00 am after a briefing from the park rangers, where you'll learn about the forest, get tips for the trek, and be assigned to a gorilla family. Led by an experienced guide, you’ll venture into the misty, dense Bwindi Forest, known for its rich biodiversity, towering trees, and thick vegetation that makes it feel like a whole other world.
When you finally spot the gorilla family, led by the powerful silverback, you’ll have one hour to observe these amazing creatures up close. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance to watch them play, interact, and go about their day—so keep your camera ready for those unforgettable shots.
