This has greatly contributed to the development of tourism industry in East Africa. Besides mountain gorillas, the region is filled with unique peoples and culture, picturesque landscapes, diverse vegetation, rich history, fascinating water bodies and the most admired weather.

Some of these tribes are similar like the Karamojong in Uganda are similar to the Maasai and Turkana in Kenya, they are all pastoralists.
East Africa has two commonly spoken languages which are Swahili and English.
