Day 1: Pick up from Kigali & Transfer to Bwindi

Your 4-Day Bwindi Gorilla Trekking & Lake Bunyonyi tour begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Kigali. After a short briefing, drive southwest toward the Uganda border at Gatuna/Katuna, enjoying Rwanda’s beautiful rolling hills and countryside along the way.

After completing the border formalities, continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. On arrival, enjoy a Batwa Community Experience before settling into your lodge for a relaxing evening and overnight stay ahead of tomorrow’s gorilla trekking adventure.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Cultural Experience

After an early briefing at the park headquarters, proceed for your gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The trek can take 2–6 hours depending on the gorilla family location, followed by a magical one-hour encounter observing them in their natural habitat. In the evening, enjoy a cultural visit to the Batwa community for a deeper insight into local traditions.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi & Canoe Experience
