Day 1: Airport Pickup & Transfer to Nairobi - Hotel

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), you will be warmly met by our representative. After a brief meet-and-greet, transfer to your Nairobi hotel in a comfortable private safari vehicle. The drive offers a first glimpse of the city as you pass through its lively streets and neighborhoods. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy time at leisure to rest after your flight or explore the hotel surroundings.

Day 2: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Depart Nairobi in the morning and journey southwest toward the world-famous Masai Mara. En route, enjoy breathtaking views as you descend into the Great Rift Valley, one of Africa’s most dramatic geological features, with photo stops overlooking its vast escarpments and lakes. Continue through scenic highlands and traditional Maasai countryside before arriving in the Masai Mara in time for lunch. An afternoon game drive introduces you to the reserve’s rich wildlife, rolling savannahs, and iconic acacia trees. 

Day 3: Masai Mara - Full Day Game Drives

Wake up to the sounds of the wild and set out for a full day of game viewing in the Masai Mara. The reserve is renowned for its abundant wildlife, including lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, and large herds of plains game. Explore different sections of the park, with picnic lunch in the bush, as your guide shares insights into the Mara’s ecosystems and Maasai culture. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and relaxation.
 

Day 4: Masai Mara - More Game Drives

Another day dedicated to immersive safari experiences in the Masai Mara. You may opt for early morning and late afternoon game drives, when wildlife activity is at its peak, or simply soak in the vast open landscapes that stretch to the horizon. This is a perfect day to fully appreciate why the Masai Mara is considered one of Africa’s premier safari destinations.

Day 5: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru 

After breakfast, depart the Masai Mara and travel north toward Lake Nakuru. The drive takes you once again through the scenic Rift Valley landscapes, dotted with farms, escarpments, and viewpoints. Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive around the soda lake, famous for flamingos, rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, and prolific birdlife. Overnight at Nakuru Sopa Lodge with sweeping views over the park.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru to Amboseli

Leave Lake Nakuru after breakfast and head south toward Amboseli National Park. Along the way, you will cross the Equator, where you may stop briefly for photos and a fun demonstration before continuing through changing landscapes toward Kenya’s southern plains. Arrive in Amboseli in time for lunch, with your first glimpses—weather permitting—of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, rising majestically across the border in Tanzania. Afternoon game drive in the park.

Day 7: Amboseli National Park

Spend the day exploring Amboseli, celebrated for its large elephant herds and open plains. Game drives are set against the unforgettable backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, offering some of the most iconic safari photography opportunities in Africa. Enjoy relaxed wildlife viewing, birdlife around the swamps, and sweeping views of the mountain before returning to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Amboseli to JKIA - Fly to Uganda

After breakfast, enjoy your final moments in Amboseli National Park before embarking on a scenic drive back to Nairobi. The journey unfolds across sweeping savannah plains with beautiful mountain backdrops, offering a fitting finale to your safari experience. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in time for your connecting flight to Uganda, bringing your East African safari adventure to a seamless continuation.

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative, who will assist you with your luggage and escort you to your vehicle. Enjoy a comfortable transfer through the calm and scenic lakeside town of Entebbe, known for its fresh breezes and relaxed atmosphere.
Depending on your arrival time, you may catch glimpses of Lake Victoria, charming local neighborhoods, and lush greenery along the route. You will then be dropped off at your hotel for check-in, where you can unwind and settle in for the evening at your own pace.

Day 9: Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, begin your scenic transfer from Entebbe toward Kibale Forest. The drive takes approximately 6–7 hours, leading you through beautiful countryside dotted with villages, rolling farmlands, and expansive tea estates. Along the way, enjoy a detour to the Albertine Rift Valley, where you’ll pause at viewpoints overlooking sweeping landscapes, dramatic escarpments, and vast plains stretching into the horizon.
Continue with a crater drive, passing through the picturesque crater lakes region. The route winds between emerald hills and tranquil crater lakes, offering perfect photo stops and a chance to appreciate Uganda’s dramatic volcanic scenery.

Arrive at your lodge in or near Kibale Forest in the afternoon or early evening, surrounded by the lush rainforest famous for chimpanzees and rich biodiversity. Settle in, relax, and prepare for your next day’s adventures in the primate capital of Africa.

Day 10: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before setting off into the lush Kibale Forest for your chimpanzee trekking experience. Accompanied by expert guides, you’ll explore the forest in search of wild chimpanzees and enjoy sightings of other primates, as well as birds such as the African grey parrot, great blue turaco, and black-and-white casqued hornbill. The forest’s rich variety of flora adds depth to this immersive nature walk, and watching chimpanzees interact in their natural habitat is often a highlight of any Ugandan safari.

In the afternoon, take part in a guided community tour where you can engage with local cultures, visit nearby villages, and learn about traditional ways of life; participate in banana gin brewing, coffee experience or crafts making.

Return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 11: Kibale to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel

After breakfast, depart Kibale Forest and enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful Ugandan countryside to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of the country’s most diverse and wildlife-rich reserves. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, where you’ll take in stunning views of the park’s expansive savannahs and crater lakes.

At 11:00 AM, head out for a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. This relaxing cruise offers exceptional close-up sightings of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and a wide variety of birdlife, including African fish eagles, pied kingfishers, and yellow-billed storks.

After the boat experience, return to your lodge for lunch and some time to relax.

In the afternoon, set out for your first game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, exploring the vast savannah plains in search of elephants, buffalo, Uganda kobs, lions, and other iconic wildlife.

Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, giving you the opportunity to spot wildlife such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and possibly a leopard. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then set off for your transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest via the famous Ishasha sector in the southern part of the park. This route offers a chance to search for the renowned tree-climbing lions as they rest on the branches of giant fig trees. Along the way, enjoy beautiful scenery, including sweeping savannahs, rolling hills, and terraced landscapes.

Upon arrival in Bwindi, check in to your lodge, and in the evening, , take part in a cultural visit to a local Batwa community. Engage in traditional music, dance, and storytelling while learning about their deep-rooted connection to the forest. Return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 13: Gorilla Trekking & Scenic Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast, depart the lodge with a packed lunch and head into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience. Accompanied by expert guides, hike through the lush rainforest in search of a family of mountain gorillas, observing their playful interactions and powerful presence in their natural habitat. Enjoy the forest’s rich flora, birdlife, and other wildlife along the way.

After the trek, continue on a scenic transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, taking in breathtaking views of terraced hills, local villages, and rolling landscapes. Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon and relax while soaking in the tranquil beauty of the lake and its island-dotted scenery.

Day 14: Departure - Transfer to Kigali

After breakfast at your lodge, you will check out and begin your scenic road transfer from the tranquil shores of Lake Bunyonyi to Kigali, Rwanda. The journey takes you through rolling hills and picturesque rural landscapes dotted with terraced farms, traditional villages, and lush greenery, offering plenty of opportunities for photography and short stops along the way.

Crossing the border at Katuna, you will complete immigration formalities before continuing into Rwanda. As you approach Kigali, enjoy views of the city’s hilly terrain and bustling neighborhoods. You will arrive at your hotel or directly at Kigali International Airport by middday, concluding your memorable Uganda tour.
