Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), you will be warmly met by our representative. After a brief meet-and-greet, transfer to your Nairobi hotel in a comfortable private safari vehicle. Depart Nairobi in the morning and journey southwest toward the world-famous Masai Mara. En route, enjoy breathtaking views as you descend into the Great Rift Valley, one of Africa’s most dramatic geological features, with photo stops overlooking its vast escarpments and lakes. Continue through scenic highlands and traditional Maasai countryside before arriving in the Masai Mara in time for lunch. An afternoon game drive introduces you to the reserve’s rich wildlife, rolling savannahs, and iconic acacia trees.
Wake up to the sounds of the wild and set out for a full day of game viewing in the Masai Mara. Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative, who will assist you with your luggage and escort you to your vehicle. Enjoy a comfortable transfer through the calm and scenic lakeside town of Entebbe, known for its fresh breezes and relaxed atmosphere.
Depending on your arrival time, you may catch glimpses of Lake Victoria, charming local neighborhoods, and lush greenery along the route. You will then be dropped off at your hotel for check-in, where you can unwind and settle in for the evening at your own pace.
After breakfast, begin your scenic transfer from Entebbe toward Kibale Forest. The drive takes approximately 6–7 hours, leading you through beautiful countryside dotted with villages, rolling farmlands, and expansive tea estates. Along the way, enjoy a detour to the Albertine Rift Valley, where you’ll pause at viewpoints overlooking sweeping landscapes, dramatic escarpments, and vast plains stretching into the horizon.

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before setting off into the lush Kibale Forest for your chimpanzee trekking experience. Accompanied by expert guides, you’ll explore the forest in search of wild chimpanzees and enjoy sightings of other primates, as well as birds such as the African grey parrot, great blue turaco, and black-and-white casqued hornbill. The forest’s rich variety of flora adds depth to this immersive nature walk, and watching chimpanzees interact in their natural habitat is often a highlight of any Ugandan safari.

At 11:00 AM, head out for a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway connecting Lake Edward and Lake George. This relaxing cruise offers exceptional close-up sightings of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and a wide variety of birdlife, including African fish eagles, pied kingfishers, and yellow-billed storks.
After the boat experience, return to your lodge for lunch and some time to relax.
