12 Days Masai Mara Serengeti Adventure

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Depart Nairobi and journey back into Kenya. Arrive at the Maasai Mara in time for lunch, followed by an exhilarating game drive. Enjoy your overnight stay at the luxurious Keekorok Lodge.

Day 2 & 3: Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes of the Maasai Mara. Spend these two days exploring the vast plains and rolling hills. Opt for a thrilling balloon safari (additional cost). Return to Keekorok Lodge each evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Maasai Mara to Serengeti National Park

Cross into Tanzania through the Isebania border, complete visa formalities, and switch vehicles. Arrive in Serengeti for lunch and embark on an afternoon game drive. Overnight at the elegant Seronera Wildlife Lodge.

Day 5 & 6: Serengeti National Park

Explore the Serengeti National Park, renowned as one of the world's premier wildlife sanctuaries. Enjoy morning and evening game drives to witness the rich wildlife. Return each night to Seronera Wildlife Lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara

After breakfast, pick up your picnic lunch and head to Ngorongoro Crater. Descend 2,000 feet for a half-day tour of this unique ecosystem. Drive up the crater rim and continue to Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge for your overnight stay.

Day 8: Lake Manyara to Arusha

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at the Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge. After breakfast, you’ll head out for a scenic drive to Arusha, a vibrant city nestled at the base of Mount Meru. En route, enjoy the picturesque landscapes and perhaps spot some wildlife in the Lake Manyara region.

Upon arrival in Arusha, check into your chosen accommodation and spend the rest of the day at your leisure. You might explore local markets, visit cultural sites, or simply relax in the city. Arusha offers a blend of modernity and traditional Tanzanian culture. Overnight in Arusha.

Day 9: Kilimanjaro Hike

After breakfast, prepare for an exciting adventure as you set out to hike Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest peak. Depending on your chosen itinerary and hiking route, you may embark on a day hike or begin a multi-day trek to explore the lower slopes of Kilimanjaro.

Your guide will lead you through lush rainforest, alpine meadows, and possibly the lower reaches of the moorland zone. Experience breathtaking views and diverse landscapes as you ascend. After your hike, return to Arusha for a well-deserved overnight stay. Relax and reflect on your day’s adventure in the comfort of your hotel.

Day 10: Arusha to Nairobi

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in Arusha before preparing for your journey back to Nairobi. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some time to explore more of Arusha or relax at your hotel.

Catch an afternoon flight from Arusha to Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi, check into your hotel and unwind. You’ll have the evening free to explore the city at your own pace. Nairobi, Kenya’s bustling capital, offers a range of activities, including dining, shopping, and nightlife. Overnight at a Nairobi hotel, preparing for your final day of exploration.

Day 11: Nairobi Exploration

Experience a full day tour of Nairobi, including visits to the Giraffe Centre, Stedmark Animal Haven, and Nairobi National Park. Overnight stay at a Nairobi hotel.

Day 12: Departure from Nairobi

Enjoy your last day in Nairobi with some shopping before your late-night flight. Hotel accommodations are not included.
