Detailed itinerary
Be picked by an expert driver guide and transferred to the hotel in either Entebbe or Kampala. This will be after a short briefing and maybe an optional visit to either Uganda wildlife educational centre where you will be in a position to spot different wildlife captives such as the chimpanzees, lions, leopards, rhinos, zebras, buffalos, elephants, snakes, tortoises, olive baboons and many more.
Head to Queen Elizabeth National Park using the Mityana - Fort Portal highway and then connect to Kasese. Pass through the tea plantations of Fort Portal and banana plantations, you will also have different stopovers such as one in Mubende for snacks and stretching and in Fort Portal for hot lunch.
Proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will explore the different wildlife during an evening game drive. This will be done with a help of the park ranger guide and he will take you to the best spotting points where you encounter the elephants, buffalos, leopards, spotted hyenas, warthogs and many more. Check-in in the booked lodge and start preparing for another adventure the next day.
You will head for a morning game drive where you will encounter different gems such as the serval cats, hyenas, lions, leopards, jackals, hippos on the channel banks and many more. This game drive will last for at least 3 hours but is very rewarding accompanied by a great scenic view of the sunrise moments.
After lunch, you will enjoy the afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel. Be in a position to spot the hippos, crocodiles and much more. The is a great view of the surrounding, the birds in the air and others punching on the trees. Later on, return to the lodge and this will be the end of the day.
Begin the day early in the morning with your packed lunch and breakfast. Enjoy breakfast in the bush where you will be in front of these rare tree climbing lions in the tree branches. Other animals in this sector are antelopes, elephants and buffaloes. You will proceed to Bwindi with enroute lunch in southern Ishasha.
Head to visit the Batwa community where you will be entertained by the cultural dances and music. This is the most attractive culture in the pearl of Africa hence you will be testing the African cultures. Drive to the lodge to mark the end of the day.
Head for briefing about the gorillas and this will be after breakfast. Be in a position to hear the rules and regulations to follow while in the forest such as they don't feed the gorillas, always keeping a distance, taking photos without using flashlight cameras and many more others. Start the search in the forest of Bwindi and be in a position to enjoy the best environment covered with unique bird species, plants and many more others.
Spend an hour in the presence of these gorillas while taking photos and recording memories. After the experience that will last for almost 3 to 5 hours, return to the lodge for lunch and leisure follows.
Leave Bwindi National Park early in the morning and transfer to Kampala with a major stopover at Kayabwe, a point where the equator crosses Uganda. Have memories here taking photos, buying some souvenirs and hot lunch. Then proceed and be dropped at the airport in Entebbe and this will be the end of your tour.
