4 Days Bwindi Double Gorilla Trekking

Day 1: Arrival and travel to Bwindi impenetrable forest

At your time of arrival, you will meet our company driver guide who will introduce you to Uganda named the pearl of Africa named by an explorer called Church Hill because of its attractions and hospitality of her people. You will drive to Kisoro in the southwestern part of Uganda where you find Bwindi impenetrable national Park, the popular home of mountain gorillas in their huge numbers. Move to the lodge for dinner and relax after a long journey.

Day 2: First Gorilla trekking in Nkuringo and optional activity

Wake up early in the morning, have your breakfast and drive to the park headquarters where the permits are got from. Move to the starting point for a briefing from the park ranger guide about the dos and don'ts while in the park and he will also tell the time you will spend in the forest in search of them which is about 1- 7 hours and what you are likely to meet while in search for these endangered mountain gorillas.

You are likely to come across animals like antelopes, monkeys and elephants. When you finally meet one habituated gorilla family, you will be allowed to remain in touch with them for one hour as you watch over their behaviors which are almost similar to those of human beings since they share 98% of our DNA. After your one-hour gorilla trekking experience, you will trek back to the starting point and then to the lodge for lunch. You can do a community tour in the evening if you wish.

Day 3: Second Gorilla trekking in Rushaga sector

Have breakfast in the morning and head for your second gorilla trekking experience which will not be like that of previous day because this time, you will visit a different gorilla family in a different sector.

You will also spend one-hour watching and following these gorillas. As you move through the forest searching for the gorillas, your ears will be entertained by the beautiful and sweet calls of the birds that inhabit this park.

Day 4: Drive to Kampala with a stopover at the Equator

The last day of your 4 days Bwindi double gorilla trekking will start with breakfast in the morning and your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge, and drive you to Kampala with a stopover at the equator for your photographic moments and some experiments then you will continue with your journey. You will either be dropped off at the airport or the hotel depending on your wish hence the end of the safari.
